Cinderella (2026) by Steven Stead

Make time for magic.

A glass slipper, an invitation to the ball and a clock approaching midnight. Cinderella is a story many of us grew up with, and one to share with the people we love.

This festive season, KickstArt brings Cinderella to the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre in Durban, with beautiful sets and costumes, songs, mischievous characters and plenty of opportunities to join in.

Cheer for Cinderella, laugh at her outrageous Ugly Sisters and see what happens when a Fairy Godmother lends a hand. With Buttons, the Prince and Dandini adding to the fun, there are familiar moments to look forward to, local jokes to enjoy and a ball to get ready for.

A tradition to share

For some children, this will be their first pantomime. For parents and grandparents, it may recall their own childhood outings. For returning audiences, it is another chance to enjoy a favourite KickstArt tradition.

Whether you come with children, friends or several generations of the family, make time to laugh together and enjoy the story unfolding on stage.
